Hi everyone! This is "Take Two" of our original blog, Super Awesome Warrior Chatters. All of the same rules apply if you used to play on that blog, and we hope that everyone will respect our original idea and not try to change it unless you have permission from one of the two moderators, Tessa or Sawyer Smith. We reserve the right to delete any inappropriate comments, so please keep it kid friendly. Please respect other players. Certain insults such as "Mousebrain" may be used when refering to another cat, but please refrain from insulting other players. The warriors pad into ShadeClan, defeated. Cloudystar is not with them. Neither is Icestripe. Sparrowwing looks around, trying to spot them. She walks up to Thistleclaw. "Do we have no leader and no deputy? Were they both killed?" She asks. "Yes," He responds simply, while tending to wounded cats. "But, who will be our new leader? If we have no deputy, they cannot be leader and since we have no leader they cannot pick a new deputy!" She exclaims. Thistleclaw turns to her, annoyed. "Well then why don't you be leader, Sparrowwing? At least then you would have some real duties to attend to, instead of spending every night outside of camp with that rogue." She stiffens. "How do you know about that? Did Shineheart tell you?" She asks angrily. "No. But some of the warriors who were there when you were ambushed by ScarClan cats thought they noticed a resemblance between Darknose and the warrior who pinned you down. So I looked into it and saw you two one night." "Please don't tell anyone, Thistleclaw! Or at least let him come here. He doesn't want to live in ScarClan, but thinks he won't be accepted here." "Do the kits know?" He asked. "Yes, I've taken them to meet him a few times," Sparrowwing admitted. "Well, I have no leader to tell, so for now your secret's safe. If you want it safe forever, maybe you should become leader..." "I can't just say that I want to become leader and hope the Clan will agree! Someone else will want to." "You don't know that for sure. Why not suggest it, see how everyone reacts. Who knows, maybe no one will protest and you'll get nine lives tonight. Now, will you please leave me to my work?" He asks. Sparrowwing nods thoughtfully and pads out of the den.
Sparrowwing pads back into camp and jumps onto High Tree. Everyone gasps. Sparrowwing looks around, a bit self-consiously. "Umm...Hi everyone. I know that I shouldn't be up here, but since we have no leader or deputy, I would like to make a suggestion," She takes a deep breath. "If nobody protests or says otherwise, I would like to be the new leader of ShadeClan. I know that I have never been deputy, but I feel that I would be able to lead ShadeClan through this time of turmoil and help us rebuild the camp. Joining the Elite was a poor decision, and I believe that if I led, I could help the Clan avoid further destruction. Our Clan needs someone young but experienced to lead. I believe that I could do this. Are there any objections?" She waits for the whole Clan to say that she wasn't the one to lead. Thistleclaw speaks up. "I say that Sparrowwing would be a great leader. It would keep her out of trouble." "I think she would be a really good leader," Robinsong says, timidly. "Me too," Darknose agrees with his sister. The Clan starts murmering their ascent. Sparrowwing looks around, surprised. "I guess there's only one more test, then. I will travel with Thistleclaw to Star Cave tonight, to see if MoonClan will accept me as leader," She jumps down, still stunned, and Thistleclaw escorts her to the Medicine Cat Den to get traveling herbs.
Sparrowstar comes back to camp and jumps onto High Tree again. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath High Tree for a clan meeting. MoonClan has accepted me as leader, and tomorrow we will start rebuilding our camp. You have all fought well, but tonight we shall rest. Sleep well tonight," She jumps off and goes into her den. After waiting until the whole camp was silent, she sneaked out and into the night and went to wait by the old tree that marked the border between ScarClan and ShadeClan.
Thistleclaw came up to Sparrowstar when she and Claws came into camp. "Did you forget something?" He asked, ignoring the nervous Claws. "What?" She asked. "You need to pick a deputy," He reminded her. "That's easy. Claws will be deputy," She said absently. "Are you really sure that's wise? He knows nothing of the Clan, and has lived in ScarClan his whole life." "I suppose," She grumbled. "Alright then, umm...Do you have any suggestions?" "If I were to pick a deputy, I would pick Darknose. He is a strong warrior, brave, sensible, and knowlegeable." "Alright. Darknose will be the new deputy." She jumps on High Tree one more time. "The Clan needs a new deputy, and I have made my decision. I say these words before MoonClan, that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice the new deputy of ShadeClan is Darknose." Darknose looks around, surprised at having his name called. "There is another announcement I wish to make. This is Claws, a former ScarClan warrior who has decided to join ShadeClan. However, to be a Clan cat he needs a new name." She motions for Claws to come up. "Spirits of MoonClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what he is. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment on he will be known as Crowclaw so that he may be a proper Clan cat." The Clan drowsily chants, "Darknose! Crowclaw! Darknose! Crowclaw!" A few apprentices fall asleep.
Target, Payless, and Ghost watch this turn of events from a random bush. Target turns to Payless, "Are we insane? They're going to catch us." He hisses.
Target turns around, spotting a dark grey tom behind a tree. He nods to Payless and Ghost, who follow him and shard away from ShadeClan's camp and deep into the territory.
Ghost suddenly turns around and goes racing back to the camp. He bursts into ShadeClan's camp, panting. He looks around at everyone's faces staring at him, "So, like, there's, like, a fire on your, like, territory. I'm not kidding."
