ForestClan Camp

Medicine Cat: Leafshine
Medicine Cat Apprentice: ???
Sealstar looked pointedly at Russetfeather, who limped off to help Leafshine with medicine cat stuff.
Legend, Nyra, and Vyra followed the ForestClan warriors in, "Sealstar! We're here to help. The Elite kind of ignored us, so we really didn't get hurt and want to help you." Legend said, as Vulture and Raven appeared beside them.
"Alright." Sealstar said, "Nyra, Vyra, Legend, you can go hunting. We need prey badly. Raven, Vulture, can you go talk to Russetfeather and Leafshine about what herbs are needed? I need to go talk to Spottedstar."
"Sure!" All five cats said at the same time. They ran off in separate directions.
Legend padded down by a small stream in ForestClan territory. She inhaled deeply. Was that...smoke she smelled? Legend padded towards the source, wary. She came over a small ridge and looked. Bright orange tongues of flame were leaping through the forest, already passing over to FieldClan and ShadeClan. Legend turned and ran from the fire. She ran into Vyra, who was about to catch a mouse. "Oy! What-" "Fire!" Legend screeched, and just before she took off again, she said, "Find Nyra, Russetfeather, Leafshine, Raven and Vulture! Go now!!!" She sped off towards camp. Legend skidded into camp. She yowled, "Everyone, to the river! There's a fire!! Go now!" She grabbed a random kit and took off towards the river.
Vyra blinked when Legend vanished, but then turned and shot off the way Nyra had gone. She caught up with her sister, explained, and then they both went in search of the medicine cats and their helpers.
Leafshine turned to Russetfeather, "Do you smell smoke?" "Yes. Strange." Russetfeather murmured. All the sudden, Vyra flew out of a bush and into Russetfeather, and Nyra crashed into Leafshine. "Fire...quick." "Danger! To the..." "We need to.." "River...rest of..." "Clan is...there." Russetfeather untangled herself from Vyra, "OK, Leafshine, you take Raven and Vulture to the river. Vyra, Nyra, you and I will go take a look at the fire." "But-" "Come on!!!" Russetfeather, despite her age, shot off into the forest to find the fire.
(I will just assume that we won the battle and are just returning to camp.)
ReplyDeleteSealstar returned to camp. She turned to her Clanmates, "Everybody, go see Leafshine if you need healing. Then get some sleep. We can hunt tomorrow."

Sealstar headed out to FieldClan territory.
Nyra walked into the forest, sniffing for prey. She crouched down when she heard a twig snap, "Who's there?"
ReplyDelete"Me, Nyra." A dark grey tom stepped out from behind a tree.
"Shard! What-" Nyra started, just as Legend and Vyra came up behind her.
"Not now. We're meeting at Four Stones tonight. Be there." Shard said, before vanishing into the shadows.
